Episode 312: Keeping It Real with the Super Mamas: I Can Breathe Again!

A few weeks ago, we let you know that Bricia was out for the week due to a minor surgery. In this episode, she tells the story behind her nose surgery and why it needed to be corrected. After a nose job as a teen and years of terrible breathing problems afterwards, Bricia decided a few years ago to finally get the problem fixed. The story of her surgery day is a little nerve wracking for the Lopez family, but in the end everything turned out well and Bricia is on the road to healing! It’s a personal reminder that a healthy quality of life is more important than anything else.

Bricia’s doctor is requiring her to tape her nose a little longer, so she found this skin colored tape and is highly recommending it ! And shout out to Bricia’s doctor, Dr Nima Shemirani, for taking care of her and making the process so flawless.

Paulina’s tip this week is when you go into surgery, leave good contact information for your loved ones! Once you listen to the episode, you’ll know why. Let someone know how they can reach your doctor or the office if you’re under anesthesia or doing an important procedure.

Final tip: DON’T talk about death the day before your surgery.

Paulina swears by the Melissa oil from DoTerra. She rubbed it onto her baby’s heals every night and it 100% made a difference in calming her down.

Bricia’s tip is to rotate your underwear out every year and purchase 100% cotton (or bamboo) underwear. Think about it. Your 2 year old chonies need to go.
