In this week’s episode, we're covering a serious topic. Last year, there was a school shooting in a local Los Angeles neighborhood and we were reminded again that this is the scary reality we live in. We decided to invite Dr. Ilan Shapiro to talk about how to address situations like this with our children. He talks about how to talk to our kids about personal & public safety and how to teach them to say something if they've seen something dangerous. He also talks about how adults and parents can be better listeners so children trust that they are safe and don’t feel like chismosos when they talk to adults. Don’t worry, there are definitely a lot of laughs in this episode! We also laugh about how quick and easy vasectomies are for men, despite many protests. 😂

Before the episode, the ladies also talk about their Valentine’s Day ❤️plans. Bricia recently attended a Galentine’s Day brunch and put together some gifts for her friends. Both Paulina and Bricia will be celebrating the holiday with their families as well. Do you celebrate with your girlfriends, kids, or just your partner? Share with us! And if your little one still needs valentine’s day cards to pass out at school or if you want a fun activity to do at home, click here for some cute + easy printables you can do at home tonight!

Pick or Tip of the Week

Bricia’s pick this week are snacks from Trader Joe’s! While working on an upcoming project, the team brought a bunch of snacks from TJ’s and she couldn’t get enough. Her top three picks are the cheese curls, hot cheetos and takis. And you can’t forget about the movie popcorn! Bricia’s trick is mix half popcorn and half cheetos while Paulina’s choice is the movie popcorn with Valentina hot sauce. Also, the Spindrift sparkling water is the best - grapefruit flavor is so bomb!

Paulina’s pick are girl scout cookies!! Support her daughter Krista’s troop and shop for your favorite cookies at kristavelazquez.com.
