This week we have our bravest super mama to date, Andrea Manzano - the mother of miracle baby Mathew. He was born with two rare heart conditions called heterotaxy syndrome and TAPVR. Mathew's resilience and Andreas faith guided her through this journey. Everyone told Andrea her baby would't make it and today baby Mathew is a three year old boy full of life. She is the true definition if a Super Mama and we hope she is an inspiration to all moms who may be going through similar situations. Her story has been featured on Univision and La Opinion. This week Paulina and Bricia sit down for a good old sister talk. Paulina talks about how exhausting October has been, from planning birthday parties, school functions, holidays, costumes, work, teething and visits to Disneyland. This month turned out to be a real challenge! Also, Bricia talks about how she has worked around not having help with her baby for some weeks. She will tell us what is like to raise a pre-adult and a toddler at the same time and how different her experiences have been being a mom once as a teenager and again as an adult.

This week’s guest Roxie Jimenez is the owner of one of the Fit4Mom franchises in LA, which houses Stroller Strides. Our episode started out being about health and staying active, but Roxie opened up and shared with us one of the hardest experiences she has lived. Miscarriage. A very hard subject to speak about in our community as it is surrounded with shame and pain for all involved. Roxie is extremely brave and wanted to share her story in hopes to reach anyone out there that has gone through this same situation and to let them know that they are not alone and how speaking out has helped her slowly heal.

This week on the show we have the #QueenMom that started it all, our beautiful Mother, Maria de Jesus. The backbone of the family, and our biggest example of sacrifice and love for her children. She shares with us her story on how she lived her 40 dias (40 days) when Paulina was born back in Oaxaca where she was taken care of by her mother and grandmother with all the rituals and very strict rules new mothers had when giving birth and how her experiences changed over time with each one of her children. She also shares a lot of “remedios tradicionales” (traditional remedies) that have been passed on by generations and that you can still try at home with your little ones. Oh! And the question of who is the favorite daughter is finally answered! You know you don’t want to miss that!!

Our dear friend Ariana Stein comes to the show this week to share her amazing story. Aside from holding a corporate job, Ariana is the Co-Founder of Lil Libros and Founder of 1800-PET TAXI. She gives us a glimpse into her busy life and how she balances being a mom and a wife while still kicking butt at what she does, teaching us once again that you can accomplish anything as long as you work hard and dream big. She also shares with us a very personal story about how finding out she had a fibroid made her look at having children in a totally different light. And thou her pregnancy was tough she would totally do it again.

Paulina’s Best Friend of 20 years, Jackie Bravo joins us this week for a comadre session. We talk babies, cars, sex and trying to make time not only for ourselves, but for our friends and husbands too.
